A series of digital collages reflecting on cultural influences on conceptions of death, dying and mortality.
'My Mum is on Fire' is an autobiographical mixed media series exploring trauma and aftermath following the events of a petrol fire incident on September 1st 2017. Reflecting on the experiences of the witnesses, the series examines both the physical borders and repercussions after the accident alongside the challenges of engaging with traumatic memory.
UR-TOPIA is a subversive upcoming publication showcasing creatives worldwide in new erotica exploring themes such as utopian and dystopian ideology, psychology and BDSM, identity and queer culture. Collage Series made for The Pink Room exhibition 16/03/2017. This work examines female sexuality as a young millennial woman, with an open attitude towards sex and encouraging self affirmation outside of the confines of the male gaze.
